CBI Values :

·         Capacity building is based on three pillars: human resources development, organizational development and institutional development. For capacity building to be effective and sustainable, the three pillars should be integrated.

·         Technical solutions based on technological approaches should be complemented with organizational changes and training to be effective and sustainable.

·         For policies to be implemented, effective and robust legal and institutional mechanisms are needed

·         Solutions that are developed in a participatory way are easier to implement and more likely to last longer than ready made ones.

·         The wider governance context affects economic performance of both government and the private sector. Institutional change can be instrumental in enhancing economic performance.

·         Technical and engineering-based solutions of problems are in fact profoundly political. Their impact is affected by the wider policy envelop, management orientation, and traditions of governance.
